Belgium R/T -68

It was a beautiful weekend and it was the perfect ending of my first season with the
restored Charger. Winter is knocking on the door so it's time to prepare for the upgrades
and improvements that has to be done this winter. I've made a total of 165 miles this year
taking in account that most of the summer got lost with a trannybreakdown and breakproblems.
I start to drive the car with more confidence but I'm still afraid that a major breakdown will occur
as soon as I smell or hear something, hopefully that will improve as I drive the car more and more because it takes away a litlle bit of the fun. Anyway, with the few miles the engine only has I only
got to half throttle yet but damn has that been enough with that torquemonster under the hood.
Here are a few videos the daughters shot this weekend.

The care sure sound healthy......

Ah you''l get used to that feeling. It's funny when you first take a car apart completely it seems like you don't trust your own skills because every time you hear or feel something you think something is wrong but after a summer or 2 you'll be beating on her like hell.
Sure small thing will occor from time to time and breakdowns may happen but it part of driving old cars........

Now you have the time to get her 110% OK for the 2011 season     :2thumbs:

I know I know, I 'll visit you one of the upcoming weeks like I promised

Nice, Per.  :2thumbs: Do your daughters know that their giggles were captured on the video's?

I'm sorry to hear your R/T will taking a winter sleep.  I do wish everyone could enjoy their cars year round like I do...I guess that those of us who can drive 'em year round should post up some "energetic" vid's during the winter for the others to see and enjoy.  ;)

Thanks Bill  The last miles the good feeling started to come but I have understood from
others here that it's normal if you are not a prorestorer to be a little bit unsure of the car in the beginning.

Wow...you sure got some narrow roads to navigate there.  I'm assuming that it is a rather unusual sight to see old American muscle on the roads there. It sure has to stand out when you take it out for a ride! :2thumbs:

Per, what is the 50 sign with the red border?  Is that 50 km/hr?  I remember seeing those types of signs when i was in Aruba, but that seems too fast for a residential street, what is that 30 mph?  Ok maybe not that fast i guess.  Carry on..
