THE CHARGER PUNK

Me, My brother and my friend have just launched a site for North Vancouver Rotting Muscle cars.

www.freewebs.com/northshoremusclecars      Its not the best at the moment, but we will soon upgrade to premium services if we get enough hits.

Check out the small amount of cars we have so far, those are just from yesterday. There will be many more to come. There also is a CHAT. If you enter the chat, could you please put your username as your chatname.

Thank you

TruckDriver

Not bad, Isn't the pic of the race car on the top of the page backwards? You ain't in Aussie land are you ;)

My Dad taught me about TIME TRAVEL.

THE CHARGER PUNK

means the owners will never sell the cars so its their fault that they wont sell

Mmm OK in that case, heres a suggestion.

Make the font on the home page a bit smaller so that you can read it.....I tried to read the first sentence, got pissed that I had to scroll down and said screw it and left the site......I didnt want to "work" to read your stuff....

A few pointers:
1. I agree with Chris on the font sizes - make them smaller with the editor they gave you of just remove all those font tags if you can directly edit the code. People will thank you.
2. You have a script that supposedly disables the right mouse click but it doesn't work. I'm not sure what the point is but if it's broken you can probably just remove it.
3. Again, I agree with Chris on the "Ownerly Challenged" wording but the grammar on the rest of the front page is better than I expected.
4. You need to pick a name and stick with it. On the front page alone you call it "North Shore Rotting Classics" and "North Vancouver Rotting Muscle cars and Classics".
5. The picture at the top really doesn't have a lot to do with the site - mixed messages are bad.
6. Back to the text: add spaces behind all the periods and other punctuation and change the words in all capitals to match the rest of the text (capital first letter only). Consistency helps people to read which means they may stick around to see what you have to say.
7. Your "General News" section only has a GIF Optimizer. That is not only a stange place to put it but there's no other content on the page. You can probably trash that section so you won't waste people's time.
8. Some of the cars in the "MOPARS" section don't really look like they are rotting or even neglected. The text and layout looks pretty good except for the word "Sponsors" in the middle of the page.
9. There's nothing at all in the "GENERAL MOTORS" section so you may want to hide/disable that link until you put something there. I know that it makes the site look smaller but, again, you don't want to waste people's time by taking them to a page with nothing of value on it.

Ack! One more: on the Home page it should say "Photographer" and not "Photographist". It will add a little credibility.

Now get out there and find some more cars to post pictures of! :drive:

Troy
Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

THE CHARGER PUNK

I changed a few things. The Photographer and burried general news and generalmotors. Do you think I should have a car of the week section?.....Maybe peoples Mopars who belong to this site?.......Just thought it would add a nice little content to the site that catches the eye :icon_smile_big:

The font still sucks!   Change it!!!

none of those cars really fits my criteria for "rotting" either.  but it's cool to see pics of mopars anyway.

:iagree: Behold; a rotting car...

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

That car was bought and was or is restored now. They used a donor car to repair it back to life. The info. is on the cars in barns web site about it even. Way cool, but a big commitment for damn sure.

Hey, you can hate the game but don't hate the player.
