Guys

This is supposed to be an NOS 1970's charger fender and I can get it cheap...but it's a 6 hr drive from here. I can use it on my '70 or '72...but it doesn't look like either? Any guesses?

It doesn't look like a 70 charger fender to me. If that's a marker light(dark spot) it's way too high and the wheel opening is too big as well. (ie: distance from the top of the fender to the top of the wheel opening is too thin)
Also, the front of the fender looks too rounded compared to a 70's fender.
Got any better pictures and bigger ones?
Picture angles can be very deceiving and perspective can certainly change the game.
Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

i'm kind of ruling out a 72 fender as well because it doesn't have that kind of 1 inch body line around the wheel wheel opening either.  I can't see the top of the front of the fender enough to tell if it has the notch(where the bumper fits into)

I need more pictures! :smash:

Kinda hard to tell by the pic...but looks like a plymouth fender to me.

Looks like some sort of C body ...Like maybe 71-74 ..
68 Charger R/t white with black v/t and red tailstripe. 440 4 speed ,black interior
68 383 auto with a/c and power windows. Now 440 4 speed jj1 gold black interior .
My Charger is a hybrid car, it burns gas and rubber............

I'm calling it some sort of 71 or 72 plymouth sebring, etc....with the wheel well cut out.
I don't see any c body in there myself.
Some sort of plymouth B body 71 or 72. :shruggy:

what if it's not even Mopar at all.
What about a 70-74ish Firebird fender? It looks kind of closer to that if you ask me.

Hmmmm I think you hit it, it's on craigs list in Fairbanks and the guy also has a coronet bumper for sale. I called and asked for a better picture, he said that was the best he had (Fairbanks people...the WORST!  :eek2:) anyway I also asked to confirm what year Charger it was off, he said he bought it from the local dealer 20 years ago and didn't remember but he was sure it was off a Charger. To me the very front looks for sure like a wrap around bumper, but the rest is a mystery, both '70 and '71-72 have that "cut-back" for the front valance, but this doesn't appear to have that. Would be a smokin deal but long drive if it's for nothing...and many that have ventured to Fairbanks have never been seen alive again!

TylerCharger69

Looks to be maybe a coronet or superbee fender?   Judging by the roundness of where the bumper meets.....Hard to really tell though

It is most definately a 72 or later fender becuse of the side marker.  I agree it looks like a Satellite ... possibly a 4 door.

mauve66

and they are calling it NOS?????? i thought NOS meant stored inside, taken fairly good care of, maybe in an original box even, looks like it was left out in the weeds..........

I'm thinking on 72/73 Coronet. Curved wheel opening and top of fender in front on slips over the bumper.

72 plymouths are straigh on top of wheel opening, not curved and bumper flushes with top of fender
Venezuelan RT 74 400 4bbl, 727, 8.75 3.23 open. Now stroked with 440 crank and 3.55 SG. Here is the History and how is actually: http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,7603.0/all.html
