Drop base aircleaners for Holley, do they fit?

It's kind of tight under the hood and considered getting a drop base aircleaner so I can at least use a normal sized air cleaner.  Do they fit well around all the linkage and hardware?  I assume they must or they would make them...

I had to modify the base of my Mopar Performance air cleaner in order to get it to fit under the hood on the Eddy RPM intake. An easy operation in a hydraulic press...No problems with any of the linkage.
Afterwards I found out that Moroso is selling one which is dropped even lower than my modified one. Claim it doesn't impact the air flow...
The thing stopping the MP base from being dropped lower is the adjustments nuts for the float levels...lowering the base further will require some serious blows with a good size hammer...

Not all drops are the same. When you find the right one it will fit perfect (linkage clearance for example). You have to also evaluate the height of the bottom filter and the top cover/filter.

I have the holley one on my 68 Charger w/400 & 727.  The drop base is shaped a little different to fit over the bowls.  I have no problems with the linkage clearance.
