Looking at buying a 76 trailduster.  Runs strong, but only forward, no reverse.  How much would I expect to pay to get the transmission rebuilt/working?

Thanks guys.

you going to pull it?

yes: $800 to $1000

no: $1500 to $1800

Do it yourself: $500 in parts and a stronger transmission than any stock rebuild a shop would ever do.

Thanks lisiecki1.  I'm fully capable to do it myself but wasn't wanting to since any free time I can find goes to getting the charger on the road.  Looks like I'll pass this one up.

Kits only cost $100 from oreillys. That comes with front band. Rear bands you cam find ebay for around $30.
