does anyone remember the culebre or culebra ?

I went to a job interview in seattle in 1989 at a custom shop where a guy named staten marsden was making a kit car assembled on a vette frame  called the culebra.  I can't find a snippit of it online.  anyone??

There was a  car manufactured by England in 1989 called a Culebra. Came in two models. The 158, and the 181.
Mid engine platform if I recall...

yea thats not it though.  Maybe my mind is froggy  but I am sure of the names.  it looked like a hideous saleen on steroids.  but as soon as I listened to his speel and smelled all the fiberglass i got ill and never returned.  maybe i might go to a kitcar site and ask.

  The Saleen S7R is already on Steroids !   
Twin turbo, seen a nice one at Portland raceway a few years ago in burnt orange color. Wicked in person.
Heck the Saleen S7  just won the GT1 class at LeMans this year, and i believe they've been out of production for a few years - now that's saying something [ beat the 1 yr old factory GT1 corvettes ]
