Tonight my cousin and I were at a local cruise when an old school buddy of his that we hadn't seen in a couple years rides up in a car with a friend of his. His friend was driving a 1969 Dodge Charger R/T with a numbers matching 426 Hemi, 4-speed. It was originally T5 copper<?> with a black vinyl top. The previous owner had the car painted a mettalic black back in the late '70's because he wanted a 3X black Charger. The body had a bit of surface rust on it but...get this....the car had been sitting since 1982 and only has 26,000 miles on it. Kurt, the owner, decided to pull the car out this spring and get the car running. Pretty neat what you find at cruise nights. :) Hopefully I will get more info on the car as the summer goes along.

No...the car is not for sale. Already asked. :icon_smile_big:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

I will try. I have not been to the cruise night in a while. This was my first time there with my car this year. Forgot to bring a camera. I will put one in the car immediatly so next time I will be prepared.

Well just a side note but I have seen quite a few of the new 06 chargers out and driving here in Indy. Passed 2 of them on the way to chruch this morning, while in the 500. Then on the way home from Church saw 3 more. So they are out there.

Hey if you make it back to the local cruise in and get some pics, try to get the information on the car, or have him add it to the 69 Charger Registry.

I would love to have even a clone Hemi Charger or Daytona, Superbird.  I can't even imagine owning the real thing.  I would be to scared to drive it.

AWESOME!!!!!!!! I can't wait to break the motor in so I can really see the difference from before and after the engine rebuild. It already feels like a bit more HP, but won't know until I can crank 'er up. Thanks for asking. My cousin forgot to make a disc of pics of the car for me. Hopefully this week he will drop one off so I can post pics.
