Mopar Performance Elect Ign and new Coil

I have the Mopar Performance Elect Ign on my 68 440 Charger R/T (Orange box).

The old coil has started leaking oil so I need a new one. A buddy suggests I get a high perfornance coil (40,000-45,000 volts by his definition.

I would like to get something somewhat stock appearing and to me that just means it will need to be black.
I am assuming the Mopar Reproduction coils are not high performance and I do not personally need to be that
correct in appearance.  I would definitely not spend the bucks for a date coded coil to go all the way in any case.

The local hot rod shop has tracked down a black Pertronix coil for me but he is waiting for a tech response from them on whether the ignition system is inductive or CD Capacitor Discharge. Anyone know?

Any comments on my intended purchase on this coil would be appreciated.
