Superbird Axle marking question - dana 60

Greetings all,

Just wondering if anyone has found a large yellow three digit number on the axle tube of their dana 60.  This is on the passenger side - partially under the u-bolt.  Looks like a paint stamp. Part of it is rubbed off and I am wondering if anyone knows what it should read.  My best guess is 083.  I will try to attach some photos.

"083" was indeed the assembly line code for 1970 B-body Dana 60 axles with 3.54 gears and 10" rear drums (A33 axle package when combined with disc brakes).

The build codes changed from year to year, as 1969's code for a similar application was "597".

Arnie you should also find that code on your fender tag aswell .Second line from the top of your Lynch road fender tag the other 2 series of numbers are for motor and trans

I figured this would be well known info on this board.  Thanks for all the prompt replies.  This is for Al Wald's bird.  Todd Kramer is doing the drivetrain for him in Fargo.  Ken - I will ask Todd if he needs the stamp or if he can recreate it.  It looks like an odd font.

As long as we are on this question:

The fender tags have two codes for axles.

One is "083" for the Dana 60, 3.54 gears, 10" drums.
This 083 is, I assume, short for the 3432 083 Mopar part number assigned to this assembly.

The other is "052" which is for the 8.75 corporate differential assembly.
What does this 052 stand for?  3432 052?
Did this diff assembly also have 10" brakes?
Has anyone seen any Superbirds coded for other differentials such as 082 (4 way drums?) or whatever the 4.10 code was?

Did any of the Birds actually come with 4.10 gears? I am not as up on them as I am other cars but I thought that I had heard that there were no super trac pac birds.

Only 2 rear ends on a Superbird.
All Auto cars came with 052 Chrysler 8 3/4" 3.55:1 Ratio
All 4sp cars 083 Dana 9 3/4" 3.54:1 Ratio
