Hi everyone I bought my 68 back in 1990 when I was 20 for $750 The car has gone threw many changes over the years The first 10 years it was a daily driver. Then it has been going threw the worlds longest restoration. I am not really restoring the car to original I am just sort of rebuilding it my way. When new it was a plain Jane 2 barrel 383 auto with a vinyl roof nothing special. When I got it it had a 440 in it. I got another 440 from the junkyard for $100 and built a nice strong motor I changed the car to a 4 speed and put a 4.10 limited slip center section in it. I have replaced the floor pans trunk pan 1/4 panels outer wheel housings rear cross member and valance. Just finishing up the body work and going to have it painted the original red. I have been buying parts over the last 15 years both new and used and think I have nearly everything. I am sure that will change when I start putting the car back together. It really is so much easier finding parts and information now with the Internet. Plus there are so many more parts being reproduced now for the Dodges  I have taken lots of pictures over the years and can not believe all the work and time and money I have spent on it. Well I hope I have not bored anybody too much. I will try to be helpful in answering questions for others as I have basically taken apart and rebuilt everything on my car. I may throw some pictures up in a few days

OK I found some old ones these are from 98 I was renting a house and the cops told me to get rid of the unregistered car(no garage) . So I hid it behind the bushes Thats when I replaced all the sheet metal. So no excuses from people that say they don't have a place to work. My friend Paul came over to give a hand and a few beers.

Finally bought a house with a garage first picture is from 95 when I started the body work. The last 2 are within the last 3 months Still got to pull the booster and the column and sand out the engine compartment. I know the engine is suppose to be blue, but a baby blue muscle car engine come on thats weak anyhow I like orange too bad its not on a hemi. I scored some really cool old original CAL Custom valve covers got a matching air cleaner as well. I am going out there today and will get some current pictures.
