Does Dodge make a Manual Trans for the 5.7HEMI?

Can I get a manual transmission for a 5.7HEMI?  I've searched the web and it seems that the 5.7HEMI only comes with the 545RFE automatic.  I'm trying to drop a 5.7HEMI in my 68 Charger and I'd like to use a 5-speed transmission but I'm having trouble finding out if this is even possible?

thanks

I am sure you could mate something to it.  I guess you would need the bellhousing radius, and the crank has to be set.  Factory I do not know but something has to be out there.

They have a 5 speed for the Hemi Dodge Ram but, I don't know if it will work right in a car as far as shifter location and size. I think the bellhousing from a smallblock is the same so you could use a Chrysler 4 spd OD trans.

Ya shifter location would be way forward in the car.  I was thinking I would have to make a custom shifter handle on my own.  As far as size, the NV4500 trans is a little shorter than the 545RFE, and 727.  So I was thinking I would just get a longer driveshaft made.  and i would think the height of the 5 speed would have to be the similar to the 545RFE so that it fits in the same location.  I'm sure Dodge doesnt make different floor humps.... or do they?   Anyways, i'll look into the bell housing with a 4 speed OD.  thanks

well i sent keisler an e-mail asking if they have a bell housing that bolts up to the 5.7HEMI.  we'll see if they get back to me.  I'm sure it'll cost $4,000~5,000 for it with the tranny and all the parts i need though, so in that case it's gonna be the 545RFE.  I'm building this car for my wife anyways (cough, cough  :icon_smile_big:) and she wants an automatic..
