I have the original drum spindles assemblies that I took off since I put discs on the car.  Should I bother keeping these for any reason?  I have no intention of ever putting them back on and I'm a little tired of tripping over them.  If not, into the scrap pile they go.

Depending on what year we're talking there's more than one company out there now that makes disc brake caliper adapters for drum brake spindles so they've got some value.

I know Scarebird makes caliper adapters for OE drum brake spindles and I thought there was at least one other company making them too.

My SSBC setup used the stock drum brake spindles

Ditto.
Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

I sold the last set I had to somebody off the board - I think they were going to go for SSBC brakes.   Now I have another set of front drums and spindles sitting out back.

Willwood too.
I have the 12.19" kit hooked up to my stock drum spindles.

Seems that everytime I chuck something like that I end up regreting it.  ;D

I seem to remember something about a small and large wheel bearing.  In "A" bodies, 73-76 used the large wheel bearing.  Does the stock 69 "B" body use the small or large wheel bearing?  Or were "B" bodies always configured with the large bearing.

My 69 drum spindles use the smaller bearing.
I only know because I thought about upgrading to the Magnum Force dropped spindles, however my Wilwood hubs wouldn't work - because of the bearing size.
2"s for $800 isn't worth it.

I think Doctor Diff offers spacers to use the big bearing rotors on small bearing spindles.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

Too bad nobody makes something for small bearing rotors on big bearing spindles..... ::)

Post a picture of what you've got.

I'm a pack rat.

I never throw anything (Car related) away.

If I think I can use them for something, I'll toss you

a few bucks and you can ship them to me...

I'll snap a pic of them tomorrow.  Nothing fancy, just stock power drum front spindle assemblies from a 69 XP car.  I've never taken them apart.  I just took them off and put them in my shed because I put on 11.75" disc spindles from a 78 Magnum.
