First off I like to say whats up to everyone. My name is Bill, and I just got a 72 SE Broham.I need a left fender and need to know what fits.I know 71 have different markers, but what about 73's and 4's ? Thanks

RallyeMike

Welcome Bill.

73 and 74 will physically bolt to the 72 and line up with all the body lines, but the wheel well is cut 1" higher than the 72. 72 is a one-year only fender.

also inner area where front splash shield bolts and shield itself are different.

If you try to fit 73/74 on your 72 would be nice then find also those shields to match and fill with valance all the empty spaces as it should be.

72 fenders like 71 aren't easy to find. 73/74 are a little bit easier since they were higher production rates of all Chargers life production, so another option it could be if you are not on ORIGINALITY stuff install both sides 73/74 and really nobody will notice the difference.

just two notes appart...

-if you go with that consider wheel opening molds are also different not just because the shape, also because profile difference, but they can bolt up making some force on them.

-headlights pedestal are higher on 73/74 because the extended bumpers so you would use your same 72 pedestal
