Let's talk lawn and yard equipment....We all have mowers, weed eaters, edgers, etc. etc.......But I think the most lazy, not to mention the most arrogant piece of lawn equipment is the leaf blower.   Sweep and pick the s**t up and throw it away!!!  Don't blow your clippings into my yard especially after I worked all day to make mine nice!!!  I want to take that arrogant piece of equipment...shove it in the most common orifice everyone is familiar with...and turn it on full blast!!!  I will never buy or own one.  Plus  they blow their s**t out in the street into the storm drains!!!  On purpose!!  Which is illegal by the way.   Okay...I feel better now.....a little bit.... :RantExplode:

Using the leaf blower on our old driveway made things way easier to clean up. I'll blow it to the end of the driveway (no storm drains btw) and then I'd use the suck function to suck it all up :yesnod:

69bronzet5.....That's cool!!!  You suck the stuff up afterwards....And...if youre in the country...well...theres a use for that there obviously.  I'm just speaking of assclowns in basic suburbia,  that have 30 square feet of lawn, and find it necessary to blow the contents around for everyone else to clean up...Not to mention...the dust it kicks up and travels down the street to the poor soul who's washing and waxing his "Charger" on a weekend afternoon....that was last week though......In the country...or a huge piece of property....okay...i can see the need....i suppose i should've categorized my vent a little better.  No offense to those who actually "need" this piece of equipment...please no hate mail....lol

I have a blower but I make sure I blow clipping onto the lawn, not into my neighbors driveway

After years of fighting the lawn services who would be paid (by our association) to kill my lawn then blow the dirt all over the cars I gave up and now zero scape......as in I do zero to scape anything! A fool with a weedwacker can kill ANYTHING and an A hole with a blower can then cover anything with the remains! (Thanks I feel a little better knowing I'm not the only one who is bugged by this too.)  :brickwall:

b5blue.....Sounds like you've had some not-so-great experiences too.....glad I'm not the only one as well.

Most services (and people) blow it all into a pile, and then pick it up. If they don't pick it up then have a serious talk with them....

I use my leaf blower quite a bit... I have a huge driveway.. But when I reach the point that I'm within 5' of my neighbor's yard OR the end of the driveway I kill the blower and finish up with the broom, then clean up my pile. With the blower it's a 45 minute job.. Without it I'm looking at 2+ hours out there..

But I know what you mean. We have landscapers at my company and they'll walk right up to your car with the blower on high with no consideration that they are sandblasting your car. I've gone out there threatening to kill them before and they just stand there and look at you like a deer in the headlights... So yeah, it's my pet peeve too

Yeah my driveway is about 150 ft.  I used mine today also.  I like em.  But rude manners suck.  Mean people suck.
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

I use a leaf blower to teach the cat where not to go, but it comes in handy to blow leaves back into the woods that surround me.
