I have an old Hurst T-handle from my '68 R/T, I always thought it was just a '70s-era add on, and I don't like them. I never let it go, though, and I'll post a picture when I get it. I was looking at Cars in Barns, and saw the GTS Dart photo down the page with the same T-handle, with a sticker on it, not cast in or cut out.

Seems I saw somewhere this was a factory option, or dealer install?
Do I have a rare piece I need to be careful with?

It was a mod many people performed - I did too. Boss Mustangs came with a unique Hurst T-Handle but our Mopars had the round ball - except 70 up 4-speed E and B-Bodies got the Pistol Grip. The A-Bodies got the ball.

Way back in 1975, I drove a 69 Charger R/T with that T-handle.

Original, I have no clue, it was my cousin's car.

SURE was fun for a 17 year old!
