HERE YOU HAVE

http://store.alternatorparts.com/partnod7018.aspx

no more than a mount on regulator, with wirings attached directly to alt. The regulator "exciter" or SWITCH ON is the stator lead, no need for ign key signal

forget about get a complete "one wire alt" in $120 or more if you have a good working order alt ( unless you want a 100 amps or more alt coming also with this mount on regulator )

VALID ONLY FOR DUAL FIELD/PRONG, not single ( at least without mods... it can be done )

Remove the blue wire coming from ignition and green wire coming from regulator. will need youst to open the alt to hook the stator wire to one of the stator leads on diodes bank

On round back alts requires a little bit more, like isolate the grounded brush and make some wire solding, not hard really anyway.

At the end will result on just ONE wire coming from alt, the thicker black one.

I'm not pushing oin make it, since I'm kinda stock purist, but if you want to make it, won't need to get one of those called "one wires alts" paying $150 or even more, if the only difference is this regulator.

as stated unless you still want to get a powerfull alt 100 amps being sold with this same regulator mounted on. Regulator won't mean alt will charge more. The top capacity is given by the alt itself. Regulator if is a good quality one could improve the optimal charge capacity though, but the same as any good quallity regulator.

with thsi you are only saving to have lot of wires on engine bay around. You are saving two wires ( if you care about )
