Hey Doug, I think I might know where that car is. I'll call Lou tomorrow ( friend of mine ) just to make sure. he would be able to verify it. I believe that car had a white wing and stripe.

well being from NW pa. there was a lot of wingcar activity back in the day. Griffin Motors here in town sold both a Daytona (believe it was Blue) and my buddy bought the yellow superbird they had. also he still has the 63' savoy Max Wedge he bought new from them. he said when he worked in the body shop back then they had the black one and a red one. had super stock written on the windshields in shoe polish and he bought the black one. his brother (now deceased bought his superbird at Penn hills Chysler Plymouth in 71' it was a 440 4-speed car and the dealership put the 6-pack on it to sell the car( yes I pulled the build sheet and it was a 4v 440 car) he said also i don't remember the dealers name in pittsburgh but he was looking at a plum crazy superbird which had a hemi /auto. he said he wished he knew then that he made a bad choice but he wanted a 4-speed car. my buddy sold the yellow superbird back in 89 to a guy in L.A. he had 4 other superbirds he bought over the years. ( aero426 knows who he is so I'm not Bullshitin here)  and they all reside in Knox, Pa. sitting in a warehouse NEVER to be restored. they been there since the 80's when my buddy sold them all. :rotz:

Hey Doug, after spending time with Dr. Don Tarr sunday do you think it might be possible that this is the car given to him thru channels?

His street car was yellow, so I don't think it's the one.
