I am buying a one owner 73 SE that is actually in pretty decent shape :o, it is supposed to run great and be a daily driver after the rear shackle is welded back into place. The car looks pretty good over-all. I am buying it mainly because I need to finish putting my other 73 back together, and this will be a decent car to run around in while I get that done! The interior is in good condition, except the headliner and dashboard are no good. It comes with a set of brand new quarter panels! The car can be driven home! It has a set of magnum wheels. I think they are 14 inch, but I plan to run my Cragars on the car when I drive it, and I was wondering what those magnum wheels with the center caps....the small ones with the dot and circle in the middle of them.....the stick on decals that were on the 2nd gen chargers mostly...that type magnum wheels..what a set of 4 is worth these days. I may sell them to help pay for the car because I don't need them and I am a bit short on Cash right now, but I cannot pass on the car because of the price! This car is all matching #'s but is a plain jain SE, 318, auto bench seat, and it is the bronze color. I figure the car has to be worth $1500 ! But I am curious as to the value of a nice set of magnums these days! :shruggy:

Not much really.  I have seen a few decent sets on my local Craigslist in the $100.00 to $150.00 range without tires.  Not sure what they ended up getting for them.  You just get very limited on tire size with a 14" rim.

I sold a set with brand new tires trim rings and center caps for $500 and delivered them to Carlisle.  I have sold bare set freshly blasted and painted for $100 last year at Monster Mopar. 14s are much easier and cheeper to come by than 15s :Twocents:

Thanks for the info! I hope I am wrong about the size and they end up being 15's....sounds like that makes quite a difference! I will know first of next week! I am getting the itch for getting my Charger back on the road, but we still have over 4 ft of snow up here on the mountain!....I dug out my 85 Mustang GT yesterday because I have a guy coming to buy it "supposedly" on Saturday! I need to raise some cash to buy Charger parts! I have my tire machine listed on CL, my dirt bike, and excellent running chevy 350 tbi with auto tranny, and some other things to raise working capitol for the Charger project.... I have already bought billstein shocks, new torsion bars, and some other front suspension parts for it. I need to buy the front rubber mount kit, and get new rubber put into my control arms, and things like that....$$$ !!! I am not even sure where to get those things pressed in at around here! Oh, well...they tell me Spring is coming! It just does not look like that right now!

New Magnum 500 wheels (14") are going for $140.00 each + $40.00 for the center cap at Coker Tire.

I don't think they make correct trim rings, so good original ones may be worth something.

Did the 1973 Magnum wheels have trim rings?  I thought they were a one piece chrome wheel with a chrome center cap.  I had a '71 Charger that had Rally Wheels with trim rings, but I don't think I've ever seen trim rings on Magnums.

Pass the popcorn stripedelete while we wait for the definitive answer.  I honestly don't know if the '73 Magnum 500 wheels had trim rings.

'68 was the last year for chrome. 69-up had the trim ring....to the best of my knowledge.... :scratchchin:

One of the guys that were renting a house I have left his 69 or 70 Mustang project behind in the garage and moved to NY.  There was a set of those chrome magnums in good shape with Mustang centers I found later under a cover in the back yard.  2 14 X 6  and 2 14 X 7.  I sold the rims for $100. The Stang went for $400.
