Any sources for steel slotted rims like these? Found some I think

I'd like to use a steel slotted set like this on my clone and can't seem to find any rim mfg's that make them.  Only the current Nascar style.  Any links out there to stock car rim makers someone could offer?  Used to be a company called Spartanburg Rim and Wheel here in SC but I can't find a listing for them anymore. I know the Lil Red Express has slotted steels but I like these.

There is no source for new wheels as used on 1960's and 1970's Grand National stock cars.    The original wheels will not fit your street car as the bolt pattern and hubs are larger.    Owners of old stock cars have beat the bushes for this stuff and are currently short on having enough wheels to go around.   When you find them, you are lucky.

The original unslotted wheels were made by Holman-Moody or Nichels.   The later slotted style starting to be used in 1971-73 would probably have been made by Clement Wheels.

The Mopar cop wheels or slotted Little Red wheels are probably  the best bet for a street replica stock car that you can get.    I think the modern round hole stock car wheels look out of place on an old car.

Thanks for the info.  I pulled up Clement and it gave me some possible places to call  .  If I get some good info. I'll post it.
Edit*** I can say I called and that Aero, Bart, Bassett, and Weld wheels don't have or reproduce any of that style wheel

The only sources for those original wheels is an old racers garage, or a salvage yard.   Calling around to wheel vendors is pretty much a waste of time.  

The stock car collector world has spent years scouring the back woods and every old racers shop in the bush looking for them.   You have to be pretty lucky to find them, or befriend an old timer who has a stash sitting in the rafters.    Anyone with a recognizable name, you can bet they were cleaned out a long time ago.   

The other issue is, again, they won't fit anything that runs on the street.   All those race spindles and hubs are way bigger than the standard production stuff.

I understand about the hub stuff on the big track track cars vs street cars, but I didn't think that all the smaller local (pay for your stuff with your own money) guys used them too.  Maybe the memory is off but I could have sworn I remember them in the 70's or so at the dirt track on a lot of cars.  The only thing about the cop wheel is the dish is curved out instead of in which is ok but not the look I want for me.  I guess the Lil Red Express Trk rims may be the only option although I'm going to keep looking.  Who knows, might get lucky.  The sales people I talked with said they get a lot of inquiry's looking for that style.  Seems like people are restoring vintage race cars now too.

Steel wheel shells are easy to find, http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Wheel-Shells,218.html. It is the unique center of those in the pciture that do not exist any more. So, knowing that, if you could find someone to make the centers and dish them the right way to clear brake calipers, them you could have a set welded up.

Well I happened by chance to run across a place that had four of these old centers laying on a shelf that I can get and then have someone make into some 15" rims. They are on 4.5" BC too.   They look just a little off to the top car pic but they'll work for me. I just have to figure my offsets and widths I need.  What do ya think about them?

yeah like them old school nascar type wheel  ,  wheel centres look good !!  what about the hub centre hole is it too big

I'm not sure what your referring to as too big for what? I was thinking that they had to be at least 2 7/8" to clear the rotor hubs and axle boss. After that it would be just more clearance.  Am I missing something? I'm just about decided to go with 15 X 8's all around with 4" backspacing. Maybe 245 or 255 60 15's on each. Seems like it should be ok if I read the other back spacing posts correctly. At least that way I can rotate the tires around and have a spare in the trunk that will fit same.

I wish I could around here.  I called many shops and websites and got the same answers of "We don't have and can't get those and don't know of anyone that makes them anymore."  I'll publish the number of the place after I get mine and can show the finished wheel if others are interested but if you have places that sell them please let me know and I can see what they have.  Thanks

Thanks for the link but pretty much all they have is either a D or modified D type slot or the current Nascar type.  I had called them and was told the Kidney slots weren't around anymore.  It would be cheaper to go current but there is something about the other style I can't shake at the moment.
