Hey guys,

I'm having my distributor rebuilt and the guy says I need new centrifigal weights for the dual point. It's a 69 440 and he believes they have to be specific to that distributor.

Any idea where I could find these? Are they sold by parts stores?

Thanks !!!!

I would question him as to why you need them.Unless they are damaged, they don't go bad.

He says they are worn pretty bad. I don't know, do they wear?
The distributor did look pretty rough.

Hey Guys, I got some more detailed information. Seems the holes in the weights are wallowed out. So, they can't get a snug fit on the stud. The cheapest way to fix it, is to replace the weights.
