Hi Guys.

As I mentioned today I bought my first Dodge Charger.

But I first:
I am Michael, age 35 and I am living in Central CT.

The 318 engine is running great I drove a few feet

But there is a lot of body work to do.

Tomorrow I will start my documentation of the car details, so I will start to check everything what need to be done.

I am sure, I will have a lot of question to you.

So today I did a closer look to everything.  :icon_smile_big:

ok, I need a new trunk lid, this I knew.
Also I did know that I have to insert a new floor pan, I will buy a complete new one.
And some deeper. larger rust holes on the outside.

What I not found were huge problems and hopefully I wont find them later.

Now I startet to remove the door and the interior to get rid off the "trash".

Attached some pics, but it isnt as worse as it looks like.
;)

Deffinatly not the worst car I've seen, Looks like somebody ground painte on that quarter and didn't protect the metal..

perhaps, perhaps not, I dont know.
I have had the following ideas:

a few, mostly technical, e.g. new dampers, great rims and tires, etc
- disc brakes
- red fog rear light, and lighted plates
- tint the windows
- audio stereo, I think I will use my old Alpine IVA
- remote entry system, perhaps keyless
- car alarm system
- LED lights
- electric fan

and  little bit electronical updates......

But first I have to finish my body work and before I start to paint the car, I will think all about this.
Sometimes I think all these mods are too much. Sometimes I think I should do everything only originally.

I dont know. I have a lot of time to think about it.

BTW: Tried somebody to add a power steering wheel??

RD

nice start.. some work yes.. but.. you do have the pedal dress up package :D  one option not most of them have.  welcome to the board!
