I figured the screen capture would get the title, but didn't.

why trilogy`? I think all their movies together are classics, although "The thing" remains my favourite with "Escape from NY" close second.

I guess You leave this one out from the "awesome movie trilogy".

I belive those things are real and not models, remember, these films was shot back in the 80's and 90's so things aren't so clear like they are now days on dvd.  :shruggy:

Charger1970

1970 Charger 500
2015 Challenger SRT

Mr.Woolery

I'm pretty sure that scene is from "Escape From New York"
-1971 Charger R/T clone restomod project

It's not models.  They filmed that scene (and most of the movie) in St. Louis.  You're looking at the Old Chain of Rocks Bridge.  It goes across the Mississippi river to Illinois.  It has a sharp angle in the middle of it.

Wanna know a scene in that movie that IS miniatures?
The CGI cityscape that Kurt Russel sees in his glider's computer screen at the beginnning!

In those days the technology costs were so different that they actually elected to use models to fake a CGI shot.  They built a miniature cityscape on the floor of the effects house, painted it all black, and then went over the edges of the buildings with bright green paint to make it look like a wire-frame.

Yeah it's unusually clear and has a strange depth of field. Here's two more;
1968 505" EFI 4-speed
1968 D200 Camper Special, 318/2bbl/4spd/4.10

whats the movie with a green 69/70 staring sarah michelle geller? saw it couple years back in vietnam and never caught the title.

she finds the wreck which looks like a 70 rear but in the flashbacks when she was kidnapped by driver it seems to be a 69 (or vice versa)
1970 PLYMOUTH SUPERBIRD. 440/6BBL/BENCH/AUTO/VITAMIN C.
1979 FORD RANCHERO GT 351.
1960 AUSTIN HEALEY MK1 BUGEYE SPRITE 1275/4 SPEED.
