Lately I think SNL just sucks...especially those two lame dykes doing the news...can't stand them. Mad TV has some pretty good skits and I watch it every once in a while....

Mad TV rocks
:iagree: :2thumbs:

It kinda reminds me of the original SNL cast of the '70s. Micheal McDonald is the best. (Stuart)

Last season, SNL was pretty damn funny.  This year, has been rather weak.  I  have missed quite a bit of this season and the way it sounds- I haven't missed much.

As-far-as MAD TV, I'm not impressed with that show either.

I remember all the hype when SNL was first going to air back in the 70's. What a disappointment that was. The biggest problem with it, is that a 90 minute show is about 60 minutes too long. You have to sit through a lot of lame ass skits that aren't even close to being funny before you finally have something to laugh at. They proved this to me when reruns called "The Best of SNL" aired years later, & were only 30 minutes long. I'll admit there were some very funny characters, skits & comedians on SNL, but I can't take it. The boredom & lameness far outweighs any quality, so it should either be shortened or canceled. I've only seen a few episodes of Mad TV since I hardly watch it anymore, but what I recall seeing was okay. I just can't remember if it was any funnier than SNL.

I always thought "Monty Python's Flying Circus" was a much better show than any of them, & next I'd pick "The Kids In The Hall".

I stopped watching SNL around the mid to late 90's The show was pretty funny then, and had a great cast. Nowadays its just plain stupid.

I can't stand to watch Mad Tv.
