Hello. On my 70, do my front and rear Windows HAVE to be out to do my vinyl top install? Does the vinyl go behing the chrome clips? If so, can it be don't with Windows in? Also some tips on the top install would be appreciated I have never done one. Thanks again.

The windows should come out for a better install. I suppose it could be done with the windows in, but it will be very difficult to stretch the top properly & get it to sit in the channels. It would then have to be trimmed very close to the window and the seams hidden by the trim.
Top installation is far easier with the glass out. The windshield clips were installed after the top also.

The windows can stay in but better if they're out and the trim clips can be screwed back in place over the vinyl.
