I have a mopar purple cam I pulled out of a 383 with low miles and I want to reuse it but I can't figure out what the specs are on it. It still has purple between the lobes so I know it is mopar perf. Does anyone know a place to cross-ref some #'s? On the back end of cam it says: 111030, 262019, and 261740 USA along with a white paint dot. Near the dist gear in the front it says 1103 and F-26. I have searched all these #'s and found nothing so far. Any help is greatly appreciated.

mmm not sure about those numbers BUT, measure the lobe, minus the ratio, and multiply by 1.5 and will get the lift. Being all MP pieces are simetrical camshafts except the resto one, will get the camshaft spec and number.

The way I understand The Mopar "Purple Shaft" cams is the cam will have a COLOR code(READ STRIPE) painted on the rear and THAT is how they are determined....I went through this with a guy with this very same senario...

purple shafts are with purple paint in between lobes ( cast rugged surface ) at front

These is a production HP camshaft ( the resto MP  ). Is a NOS unit very old so purple color must be aged... BTW it does have some red spots.

My new 474/280 MP camshaft doesn't have any red mark, just the purple ( fresh purple ) like this.

Um no, I mean on the VERY end of the cam there is (according to Mopar perf.), a Paint stripe and whether it's White, red, blue, green, etc. this is how they told me They identified the purple shaft cams...BTW: Those purple shaft cams are nothing but old Crane Fireball cam cores and this is why they have small lifts, but HUGE durations....
