proof that even the sun shines even on a dogs ass some days.  I will hold specific names since he made it right in the end..

in august of 2008 I made a deal with a guy who was to send me a part. I paypal'd the money.  after months and months of bla bla bla, he finally sent pictures of the work he had done to the part and said it would be coming.  well...it never came, and no answers to phone calls and emails.   It was 165 bucks and while not chump change, not the end of the world.  I had let it go and forgotten about it but today something made me change my mind.  I emailed him and told him what a douche he was and how he wasn't a man and all that bla bla bla.

His wife responded within 2 hours and said it was a misunderstanding and put the money into my paypal acct already.

although it took forever im glad she made it right.  I even offered that if he sent me the part first, i would still buy it from him, but I would only send $ once I had it in my hands. 

This was the only time I ever go outright 'taken' on the web so it's extra special that it got unscrewed.

No, it was not someone from any forum actually.  It was a website I stumbled across and the only forum connection was that a guy at moparts knew him and was using the product.  I spoke to the offending party on the phone only when the deal was made.
