Ok ladies and Gents!! I have a few questions!!

I am wondering if I can remove my A/C Box that is under my dash in my 69 Charger and swapping it for a NON A/C Heater box?

I am not sure if they both mount the same? And is the FAN MOTOR in the same location on the firewall? I want to get rid of my whole A/C unit I am located in Southern California, so there is no need for it!  :yesnod:

Can someone instruct me on what and how to do this swap if at all possible? THANKS

Weeelllllll I pulled my A/C out of my 70 and installed a unit from Classic, it is not stock, it cost me my glovebox space (never use anyway) and only had to drill 2 small holes. Now if you want to stay factory I have no idea. (try re wording subject title)

dunno really on the blower cut out itself... I think firewall changes, but one thing is sure, the cooler blower line/hose is totally diff and fits diff on firewall

There are many differences between a charger with A/C and not. You would have a whole lot of holes in your firewall if you changed to a regular heater box. The fan motor goes through the firewall on a A/C car, while it's under the dash on a Non-A/C. You would have to ditch the heater vents in your dash aswell (sides and center).

I would recommend just ditching the A/C stuff in the engine bay, except for the heater valve and hoses, that's what I did. Then you have a better setup than cars that have just the defog option (non A/C).

The mounting holes are different too.
