anybody got any ideas to repair a small crack in an engine block easy to get to and not near any oil or waterways???? :shruggy:
I don't care what is is designed to do,I want to know what it can do.

Easiest way would be JB weld, just bevel the crack.

Next, I would braze it, very easy to do.

Finally you could weld it.  You need to figure out the type of cast it is, and preheat and post heat which would take a while with the amount of mass the block has.  Either way it needs to be beveled.
