I need a new timing light! I have had two in the past year. The piece of junk quits flashing after about three or four times of using it! :brickwall: I need to get a good one with tach advance on it? ANY SUGGESTIONS?!?!??!?!

I've noticed that the inductive pickup has to be moved on the wire sometimes so that it picks up a good signal. That may be because of the ignition wire shielding.

I have an older Matco timing light (no advance feature and 20+ years old) that always seems to work well.

I have an old snap-on unit, tach and built in advance/retard settings.

The good Sears timing light is on sale $20 off for $80.  I just bought one and will try it tomorrow.  It has the tac too so I'll let you know.
