Trolling the company-allowed sites this early afternoon, and found this:

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/33498869/ns/us_news-the_stimulus_tracker#/all/all/us/all/

Breaks down the $787B Stimulus package by state, county, project, and jobs created by each. Kinda neat. See where the money's being spent in your area. Have fun.

Hey the interchange right by my work that is a nightmare is getting "thin air" stimulus dollars funded for it.  Its nice to track where the money is going but it'd be nicer to know where the money came from...  Oh, thats right, thin air!

Our money has been fabricated out of thin air for several decades now.

Everyone suddenly started being bothered by that practice this year.

Everyone?

Some of us have had issues with the spending long before this administration.

That said, increasing the deficit by 65mph is one thing, we're more like 100mph these days.

Ah, nothing to worry about. Nothing to see here. Move along.  :slap:

If you define "thin air" as borrowing from the Chinese via US Treasury Bond sales, you are correct sir!~

Whatever happened to average citizens buying US savings bonds?  The government used to borrow money from us that way.  We held our own debt.  They didn't always pay the best return but were considered very safe.  I've still got a boatload from automatic payroll deduction coming up on their 30 year mark so they need to be cashed in but I'd probably just replace them with new bonds.  Sorry if I got off topic.
