Well i want to put the kit on my car but i want to get some advice from the pros.

First off, is there a good "how to" article?

Secondly can someone thats done it give me a good idea on the best way to get this done? What needs to be done and whats the best way to do it?

Thanks,

Frank

Frank, here is a link to the Moparts tech section. It's an easy operation to perform, just a little cutting and welding. The guy that installed your frame connectors could do this easily. This relocation moves the springs inboard a full 3inches...allowing you to use all of that wheel well for rubber. There should be plenty of room to fit 12-13in of tire inside the wheel wells with this kit.  :2thumbs:

Summit sells the MP kit and it's complete with front hanger mounts, shackles, spring perches and the tubes you need to weld into the rear framerails for the shackles. The only upgrade i would recommend is a set of Poly bushings for the leafsprings.  :yesnod:

Just out of curiosity, has anyone here done this?  I'd like to know if it affected handling.  This would be cool on my '69, but i really want it to handle well.
