indy sr intake valves

i keep wearing out the intake valves in my sr,s.  :P they are the ones supplied with the heads.is there a better longer lasting valve for these heads? they are 2.19". where would i get them?

OS,

I have to call dwayne porter anyway... want me to ask what he put in my SR> heads?  I swear he said something about correcting the valve guilde but I maybe mistaken....

tom, that would be awesome.i have 3 sets of sr 295,s.i can not get any kind of life out of the valves.they wear out faster than the valve springs :P. i just replaced all valves in my other heads.it,s the stem that wears. it,s got to be something with the guides. i would love to hear what he says.now is the time to change something as they are all apart now. thanks tom,brian

Brian, go with a set of Manley severe duty valves....much better quality than the std ICH valve that comes with the assembled head. My 295 EZ's were ordered bare so that the better hardware could be added.....Dwayne will be using the Manley's on mine.  :2thumbs:

INDY used to use Manley Valves ?, they must have switched suppliers ?

I talked to Dawanye and said there should not be an issue...

However, I was not able to answer several of the questions.
