Okay am new to this site but have owned Chargers most of my life.  Currently have a 68 440 R/t Charger and am finally(My wife says) beginning the restoration of my 69 hemi Charger 500 4 speed car. Spent years as a drag car and am ready to make it our weekend fun car. If anyone out there has any 69 parts please let me know.  Will try to post random pics as process happens

The 69 was originally green. painted it blue to drag race it. My bad. Wife wants it red. So it is gonna be red when completed.

To mgmidget and white: Looking forward to seeing BOTH of your 500's restored and tearing up the countryside !!

By the way, I have a friend that has a 6+ acre place on the waterfront of Lake Livingston and his son-in-law keeps a 1975 mg midget up there and they run all over the property and the roads around there in that little thing! Sweet little roadster!

My buddy resisted changing the color of his f8 green '70 Hemi 'cuda 4 gear & he was way happy when it was done.  He doesn't keep them, he'll restore or freshen up an old resto. & turn it. 


Which color green?  You mentioned changing the color before racing it, were you the original owner?
