Hi,
I have a 68 Charger that I am restoring and got a lot of helpful answers from you guys.  So, I have a 95 Camaro 3.4 AT. It's been cold these past few mornings and when I start the Camaro, it runs and idles very rough. It acts this way for about 2 miles, then it ran fine. Any idea what I can look for??
I'd really appreciate some advice!
I have seen evil! I have seen horror!
I have seen the unholy maggots which feast in the dark recesses of the human soul!
I have seen all this. But until today, I have never seen such a pain in the ars car like this 68 Charger!

What kind of fuel system? Carb, injected, throttle body?

Rolling_Thunder

As far as I know it is a fuel injection system...   SEFI -  if it is a cold condition - is it all the time when the engine is old or ONLY when it is extremely cold outside ?  If it is every time the engine is cold I would inspect the IAC...    if it is only when the outside temp is cold I would start looking at the IAT sensor...       you can always pull the trouble codes if it has any with the old paper clip trick (i believe it works on that year GM vehicle)

2013 Dodge Challenger R/T - 5.7L Hemi / 6-speed / 3.73 Limited Slip

1964 Dodge Polara 500 - 440 / 4-speed / 3.91 Sure Grip

1973 Dodge Challenger Rallye - 340 / A-518 / 3.23 Sure Grip

I have also experienced this issue with a bad oxygen sensor in the past.

yep the paper clip does work.. two top right ports on the OBDI input, jump them and read your codes.  it will start with a 12 and end with a 12, any codes you read in between is what your ECM is telling you is wrong.
