I live on these, and I was paying a LOT more locally (and my other suppliers). You can't beat Amazon for this product, and shipping it $4.00 for (4) cases!!!

Thought I'd pass it along for anyone looking for a clean source of protein with VERY LITTLE calories and almost no fat.. Check this out:

Calories: 240, Calories From Fat: 10, Total Fat: 1gm, Saturated Fat: 1gm, Cholesterol: 15mg, Sodium: 120mg, Potassium: 180mg, Total Carbohydrate: 6gm, Dietary Fiber: 1gm, Sugars: 2gm, Protein: 51gm, Vitamin A: 0, Calcium: 0, Vitamin D: 0, Vitamin K: 0, Riboflavin: 0, Vitamin B6: 0, Vitamin B12: 0, Pantothenic Acid: 0, Iodine: 0, Zinc: 0, Copper: 0, Chromium: 0, Vitamin C: 0, Iron: 0, Vitamin E: 0, Thiamin: 0, Niacin: 0, Folic Acid: 0, Biotin: 0, Phosphorus: 0, Magnesium: 0, Selenium: 0

:o That is unheard of for such high contents of protein, and MetRx, as you may know, is not your run of the mill grocery store product, they are tried, true and tested and used by body builders/athletes around the world.

  These have helped me with various aspects of my (changing) life the past couple of years , so I can vouch for them personally.

How do they taste?  I'd be more inclined to drink something that doesn't make me retch.  I'm weird like that, lol.  Any flavors better than others?  I've been drinking Boost with extra protein, but the fat content is pretty high and the protein is about half of the Met-Rx.  I'm currently 5'8" and 165, which isn't bad considering I'm 42.  I want to trim some body fat and this seems like a decent supplement.  Thanks for the info.

I used to add  High Quality Advanced Weight Gainer to my diet when I was doing a little of power training.

Thing is, I am 36, 6 feet 2 1/2 inches , 170 pounds. I really want to gain extra weight.
I eat all day long, can eat everything but stay slim.  :icon_smile_dissapprove:

My entire life and throughout my 30's I used to be able to eat and drink anything I wanted and couldn't ever get over 160 (not that I wanted to) and at roughtly 5'10". It seems like when I turned 40 that all changed. Now I'm 52, down to around 5'9" and run between 195 and 200... I still eat and drink anything I want, just not so much of it.  :D

Well, guys, depending on the "phase" that I was in, I can regulate my weight (I'm 5'11") from 230 to 275 lbs. The 275 (or above 250) point was when I was neck deep in powerlifting competitions. I got way too involved, until one day when I woke up and said WHO CARES IF I CAN LIFT THE BACK END OF A BUS? I mean really, who was going to care if I went home every night with my joints killing me.

So I decided to make a change. In March (of this year) I went on a mission, to get down to 200 lbs. I'm currently at 193!! I did it with diet, mega cardio, HydroxyCut and MetRx drinks as meal replacements and to keep my Protein up so that my body wouldn't attack muscle before fat.

Now, for you guys that want to go the other way, first, you should be thankful you have stubborn metabolisms. When I hit 30 I could put 10 lbs on by looking at food through the freezer door at the grocery store. It became harder to take OFF than put on.

But, putting clean muscle (low fat) on is the goal, and honestly taking in clean protein like this with virtually no fat/calories is clutch.  Mixing this with a clean Whey Protein, in the morning, will definitely pack some muscle on your frames. Just remember to eat right and eat to BUILD. Keep your carb intake regulated to pre-3PM , so that your body uses the carbs for energy/fat burning and doesn't sit in your system. And, I can't say this enough, don't eat after 7PM. I was FAMOUS for calling up and ordering food at 9:00 at night. That would sit in my stomach like a brick.. Once I cut that out, the weight started to fall off...

These drinks taste better than anything I have ever used. I have had some that tasted like cake batter, some that tasted like mud. These are awesome. You'll drink it and think "There is NO WAY this is good for me!". It is, believe me!!!!!  I'm maintaining my current weight by taking in 1G Protein per lb of body weight, but if I wanted to gain clean muscle I'd increase to 1.5G/LB or 2G/LB to achieve that.

And remember, work out like a fiend while you're doing all of this.. The results will surely follow!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like you've learned the proper balance of it all.. I'd LOVE to sit and chow down on a pizza and a bag of Doritos.. But the bottom line is I'd LOOK like that pizza afterwards... So I can't :(

Amazon is also great for dog treats! Way cheaper than the local stores (and no, not the stuff you can buy at Wal-mart).

I'd love to get down to 170ish or maybe even a little lower, I think my biggest problem is the only weights I lift are all exactly 12oz.

 Those reps won't help!!!! We went this morning and did 90 minutes on the treadmill. Then I worked out in the garage on and off all afternoon.. Makes me realize something. I need to cut this mop on my head.

I know they won't help, but I sure have something to show for my investment.  :smilielol:   It's hard for me to do something like a treadmill due to some previous medical problems I had.  I used to lift weights all the time and really enjoyed it.

I just had my mop chopped a little bit ago.   It'll probably get one more before the snow starts to fly.

Yeah, I usually wait until I start to resemble an 80's Bruin's player before I get mine cut... Or McGyver, which ever comes first.

Is Bill Kaz....r still endorsing Met RX? they were (probably still are) a major sponsor behind the Worlds Strongest Man Contests. Bill was unstoppable back in his day and was one of the best Powerlifter's of all time. Met RX is a great Product  :2thumbs:
