need tires for '71 SE

the tires that came with my SE are supposed to be the originals, but when i look at the walls they say R70 X 14. Does anyone know what the equivilent would be for buying new tires? i went to year one's website, but they don't carry R70s. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's been a long time since I replaced stock-sized tires, but I think I was putting on either 205 or 215/75s. This would be a good time for you to upgrade to either 15s or wider 14in rims. Before I went to 15s, I had switched to wider rims and ran 235/60-14s.
