I saw Arlen Ness driving a new Victory motorcycle on American Thunder the other day. When he came to a stop, he simply let go of the handlebars and stepped off...and the bike neatly rested on the lower frame. Kickstand WAS optional!

Well I do and I can see he has humongous chicken strips on the sides so yes, I'll agree, Kind of pointless.

You see how the rubber is worn/dirty on the mid line of the tire only and the outsides are practically brand new?  Thats a chicken strip.  It just means he's too chicken to lean the bike far enough to use that part of the tire, which is why I say it is kind of pointless to have tires that big if your not even going to use them.  Not to mention they're also pretty useless to begin with as no bike needs that big of a rear tire, not even drag bikes... I like to think this kind of gross waste of money is like how a ricer puts a spoiler and body kit on a honda civic.  Anyways, to each their own its his money he can do what he damn well pleases.

Edit: The only drag bikes to my knowledge that use tires this big are top fuel bikes and they use regular car slicks anyways.
