WHAT COLOUR YELLOW IS THIS. MY FRIEND WHO HAD CAR PAINTED IN 80'S SAYS IT IS Y2 SUPER YELLOW. NEVER HEARD OF THIS COLOUR . IS THERE A COLOUR CHART OF YELLOW'S THAT I CAN VIEW AS I WOULD LIKE TO REPAINT THE CAR A LITTLE BRIGHTER YELLOW.DO MOT PEOPLE NOW PAINT BASE/CLEAR VERSES SINGLE STAGE PAINT?
1969 dodeg charger, 528 hemi ,Tko 5spd.

Just 6T9 CHGR

Y2 for '69 Dodges was just called "Yellow"

for the Plymouth version (same color) it got a cooler name "Sunfire Yellow"

Go to your local Dodge Dealer or just look up YIPER YELLOW, nice bright yellow and it just sets off in the sun.  See if you can track that color sample down and see if you like it.

"Super yellow" is a '70 Canadian plymouth term.

Could just be the way the picture is but that isn't Y2....this is Y2....

I was going to say the same thing. Looks too bright to be Y2. Y2 is more Pastel. Heres a example on a 1 of 1 69 1/2 440 6 pak Roadrunner I restored 10 years ago. LEON.

looking at your colours for y2 I don't think thats what I have. Mine is brighter than those. They look very similar to butternut yellow (Chevy colour )
