The new season Pinks All Out .... Anyone else hate the new show format?

The 4 lanes is cool, but other then Rich & Ken Herring, who the hell are all these new people? And what's with the narrator now? To me, they made the show more like Pinks Outtakes. I like the old style with Nate his brother in the booth. I don't like it now the Rich is calling the race like a Nascar race :icon_smile_dissapprove:

We have watched that show for the past few years. We haven't had much time recently to do so. Things were getting a little tense last time we watched it. Didn't think much of it. Seemed to be fine. Hope Rich doesn't wreck it by forgetting his roots...racing...it's all about the racing. The small/part timer getting to play on TV. Just being there would be fun...racing the ultimate...winning, well one can dream.

The new format is complete Cheeze Whiz. They've always got a camera shot of the new bald headed guy's goofy facial reaction when a car gets a little squirrely on the track, they show a fist pound after every run, and I want to shoot the narrator in the face. :flame: The old show was much better IMO.

The 4 lane is cool. Isn't that exclusively in Concord NC though? It's only 3+ hours from me, i may go to check it out one weekend.

I didn't see the whole hour and really didn't notice the changes in the show. I hope they didn't F it up. Was a good show. :'(

I only watch that show to see the cool cars. I could probably do just as well turning the sound off so I don't listen to the corny narration. Still, always fun to see what cars they dig up to race. I just wish they would not have so many darned 80s mustangs. No offense to owners but those cars just don't have the muscle car look to me. I want to see more 60s and early 70s cars on there.

Havent watched that show since it was just Pinks. Got burned out on the changing format.

fox body 'stangs are a dime a dozen.......old chargers however, are rare.

A lot of Mopars on tonight. 2 Challengers. a '66 Charger, and a '71 Roadrunner.

But again, other then Rich and Ken Herring, I do not know any of the guys. I miss Matt & Nate in the tower. When the one Challenger ran to fast, they interveiwed the guy, with violin music in the back ground so to like make everyone feel sorry for the guy. Minimum bet is $500. bucks now too. The new format SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!

And who the hell is the new bald guy who is supposed to be pumping everyone up :rotz:

My 14yo hates the show now too. They ruined a good show. :P

I've never been able to tolerate any of the "Dinks" shows or Pass Time for that matter.   Can't believe I pay extra for Speed Channel with all the garbage they have on there now.

I saw that show with the mopar and was really pulling for them. Hated to see that guy bumped for running too fast. Very cool car! I am not crazy about the show but if you want to see some cool hotrods what else is out there?

I just got back from Pinks All Out here in Kent, WA.  Was fun to see live!  Don't really watch the show too much to know what's new or old.  I actually don't think I've seen one this year yet.

I had fun though.  There was only 1 Mopar in the final 16 that moved on.  A 69 Dart 440.  There was a 70 Challenger that had a 340 in it; lost to a Chevy 480 big block.   Another late 60's plymouth got beat, didn't hear details on it.  The Dart made it to the final 4, but lost to a newer Firebird.  Have to find out when they're going to air it!  Said a couple months...  Good times!
