I have couple of questions i wanted your guys opinions on. IM in the process of doing my restoration and during replacing the floor I know my crossmember was rotted to shit should I buy a used one or go get one from AMD since the price of each are within in about 80 bucks of each other The second question is The Former owner besides being the bondo KING decided to replace with quarter skins and not replace the rotted outer wheel wells Should I go with full quarters or skins cause what's throwing me is I've already replaced the sail panels if I do full quarters can I trim the sail panel part away so I can save the ones on the car or just rip it up and go from scratch

If you're going to do it, do it right, new crossmember and full 1/4's.

I would think you should be able to save the new sail panels if you can be real careful when you detach them. New quarters are spendy but worth doing. You can also get new repro outer wheelhouses and those are easy access once the quarters are off. The rear window mechanisms will be right there too so I'd suggest you replace all that hardware while you're at it with this: http://www.megapartsusa.com/proddetail.asp?prod=132%2DQWH119
