For a suregrip rear, its regular gear oil with the mopar suregrip friction fluid mixed in?  Is it 4 ounces to the rest gear oil?

Sure-grip additive from your local Chrysler Dodge or Jeep dealer is part # 4318060AB and has a MSRP of 7.67 . I add two bottles of this and fill the rest with 80-90 gear oil.

I've used it on manual transmissions and it does a better longer-lasting job than regular gear oil. I don't see why it wouldn't be the same on the diffy

synthetic gear oil does not require any additives to use with suregrip units.  you can use it straight.

*edit* royal purple is good, but expensive.. castrol synthetic or mobil one synthetic are good.
