The 1972 Dealership ID Program

MARKETING & BRAND RECOGNITION
-or-
How to redecorate your personal garage, Chrysler Style 101

If you have a great product, you want to make it easy for the buying public to find what you have for sale. Chrysler did this with the "Total Look" - it was their Dealership Identification Program. Please take a step back in time with us to 1972. For the next few minutes, imagine that you are a new dealership owner getting your new building & staff ready to start selling the 1972 offerings from Chrysler. Smell that smell? Yep, fresh paint, new stationary, new uniforms, aw yes.... there is nothing else quite like it.

While this binder is not dated, it appears to have been printed in preparation for the 1972 model year based on the truck & van images inside. If you have one of these binders for another model year, please contact me & let me know?

Are you sure it's 72 Barry, I thought I saw a date on one of those pages for May 68?  I also spotted a 68 Charger on a billboard in their images.
Then again, the overall look is early 70's and a different page has "revised 12/72" on it so perhaps they reused pages from an earlier binder when it was appropriate to do so?

This was the best I could determine on the date.  :shruggy:

No, I agree with you it's for 1972.  I spotted a couple of 1968 things in it and it made me wonder for just a split second there but there's no question it's 72.
