71 superbee hood....Whats it worth?

I found a superbee hood, complete with insert the whole works. it has a small dent in the bubble in front of the insert, but other than that its in nice shape. Any idea what it would be worth?

Buldge hood $400-700 depending on condition. by insert if you mean air grabber the $ goes up.

I know what your talking about.  I know it as the RT hood insert, they were an option on the bees I guess.  If in good shape with the insert in good shape, I would say anything under $600 would be well bought and anything over $700 would be well sold. Just my    anything is only woth what some one is willing to pay

Wow, if came off an original 440 4bbl '71 Superbee, that's a shame. The 440 4bbl was pretty rare.......

Not trying to be a ass, but the RT insert was only availble on the RT, and the Bee insert only availible on the Bee of course, the Ramcharger was optional on both. sometimes guy's lose the original inserts and end up with a insert from the "other" car i.e Bee with a RT insert or RT with a Bee insert. Nice hood btw! a lot of guys will like the fact the "louvers" at the rear of the hood go all the way across some 71's did, others had a "gap" same style as 72 hoods.

Thanks! I wasn't sure I had the RT inserts on a 72 clone I had I have a ramcharger set up on my 73 bee clone.  I think my price ranges are close if not, help the guy out, and give him some #s

I agree with husk about the price  the hood has a few things going for it 1. it has the insert 2. doesnt appear to need too much work, 3. louvers all the way across the rear of the hood. it wasnt that long ago you could have easily got 700+ for it but as you know prices have since dropped.
Back in 2006, I bought a Bee hood like your's no insert, needed work 350$ and that was considered a good deal. It's going on my 72 so I have a "filler" panel made up to replace the Bee insert.
