driveshaft interchange

Hey guys,

Will the driveshaft from my 69 Charger, 383-727-8.75, fit into a 72 Charger, 440-727-8.75?   :shruggy:I'm yanking out my 727 to put the 4spd in and a guy wants to buy the trans, driveshaft and kickdown linkage as a package.  I wasn't sure if it would fit due to the length and wanted to check before I sold it to him.  Thanks!

  By my calculations it'll fit at each end but will be too long in the middle.  Any good machine shop can cut it down and balance and it will work just fine.
