My son lives with his mom, but I am over his way 3-4 times a week. I was just driving thru his neighborhood like normal and saw what appeared to be a white 71 or 72 Charger and what appeared to be a father and son doing some work on it. So of course I had to stop and bug them seeing as I dont see many Mopars these days. The car in question turned out to be a nice 72 and the father and son in question turned out to be member oldrock and his son Josh. Good folks. They were nice and welcoming and we shot the bull for a little bit. Their car is coming along nicely. Always nice to happen upon a Charger and nicer when it belongs to a member!!!!

I met David Scott (HDCharger) about a year and a half ago, he is currently serving our Country in Iraq. I met him and his brother-in-law, they bought a 72 Charger from me. I also met member JudHudson, at the Tennessee Valley Mopar show 2 or 3 years ago.

Its true, Josh and I were out working on his 72 charger in the driveway and out of the blue up walks some guy with his young son to check out the car. We of course have to talk muscle cars and he tells me he has a 68 charger! Ends up we were both on this forum and didn't know it. Was nice to meet you, Jimmy and hope you get your charger up and running soon! We are almost ready to get Josh's inspected. Just need to do a bit more work on the carb and get that dumb signals not flashing problem sorted out first.

And I had the pleasure of meeting Mike while I was in New Zealand.

It's thanks to him that I've drove my first 3rd gen, and I got to do it on the wrong side of the road, legally.  :icon_smile_big:

Also got to meet Kiwi68 (Donk) and another Charger fan at a show that Mike and I drove out to while I was there.

Strotocharger/Brock Sampson (Dave) let me stay with him when I went to San Fran to check out what ended up as my '70 R/T SE.

Dave also hauled me around, and even let me drive Skunkenstein after driving us around many of the Bullit locations. :coolgleamA:

Troy (hemi68charger) went to Volo Auto Museum in Illinois with me.

He saved me from a bad deal in fact, and has helped me out numerous times since.  :2thumbs:

Met Duo-stripe (Marcel), Paladin (Ben) and 69bananabeast (Nick) @ the 2005 Boerne, TX Charger meet.

Ben was kind enough to try and help me with my window tinting issues. :coolgleamA:

Hung out and made minor cooling system repairs with 472 R/T SE (Mike) up in Washington state.

Rode around with Daytona Guy (Dane) in his yellow Daytona on one of my trips to Oregon.

Haven't had the luck of meeting anyone from the site while just randomly being out and about though.

But I have had the luck of meeting quite a few really nice people through this site. :yesnod:

Hope to meet more.  :2thumbs:
