That Pic of my car showed the bad side, Unfortunately I have a small dent at the very point/spot in Question. SO, I just went outside to take a pic of Right hand passenger side. No dent there. But being midnight & dark had to use a flash that kind of blurred out line. Maybe I'll take another Pic tomorrow in daylight. My fenders should determine the truth being all original paint. From what I can see it's a combination of both, There is a line there so does not totally fade out but it does get much more rounded off & less sharp in my opinion. Here's a Pic, hope it helps.

Lighting - especially sunlight - when viewed from just the right angle
can really make the front fender line look crisp (like it goes on forever).
But it doesn't - it's just the tip of the curve by the time it gets to the
front bumper ;)

My original 69's were bead blasted to metal, then a thin coat of primer overtop, I will take a pic and post it up  :2thumbs:
1969 Dodge Charger SE 383 727 #'s matching with original 8 track
1996 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4
2003 Hummer H2

Now this looks like a winner to me :coolgleamA:  No, I'm not talkin about how nice the car
is.  Ya silly.  I'm talking about how the reflections of the background make a line:  whether
it is a line in the body surface or not

In my opinion that line fades GREATLY appoximately 3 inches back from the seal.  If you put a crisp body line all the way to the front of the seal it will not look right for a 70.

If I see a 70 Charger with a crisp body line all the way to the front to me that is a dead giveaway to a fender that has been body worked improperly maybe because of damage in that area or just by owner preference.

The body line faded on the rust free and practically dent free fenders of my 70 RT Charger.

I dont think you can compare the 68-69 fenders as the body line on those seem to fade differently.

:iagree: I think the '70 fenders were made to fade the way they do simply because of the rounded bumper edge. '68-69 cars weren't designed to meet that requirement, so their lines continue further toward the front.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)
