pullin the motor and tranny any tips?

hey guys, i havent been here in a LONG while. i dunno if i know anyone here anymore lol.

heres the deal the 69's all gutted. shes in storage insurance too :( so i figure now is a good of time as any to make it the car it deserves to be.  i cant afford to buy new everything so ill recondiotion as much as i can.

if the weather holds out saturday me and my dad are gonna pull the motor and tranny out. ive never done this before and he hasnt done it on prolly 25 years maybe more lol. do you guys have any tips?

its gonna be a long road and i already miss driving her but it will all be worth it when shes got new paint and a fresh 440 under the hood  :drool5:

I've read several threads and other articles about removing and replacing engines/trans.  Several mention dropping the engine/trans as a unit along with the front K-member.  Lots of raves about this method.  I know it sounds wicked but the comments were all positive.
