I found a set of these for pretty cheap. Just finishing up my project and dont have much cash left.....surprise! hehe.  So I wondered if they might look alright? I have steel ugly rims on her right now. They kind of remind of the general lee rims. Which I dont mind. Thanks for any input. If someone has a pic of a charger wearing these rims, i wouldnt mind seeing it as well.

moparsons

Never seen it, but I think it would look okay. I've seen em on a 66 newport and that looked alright.

Ghoste

I've never seen them on an earlier Charger either but like moparsons, I don't have much trouble picturing them on one.

bull

That might look pretty good, although I prefer the dish look.

I had an 82 Mirada with those wheels and 246/60/15 tires and for kicks I put them on my 69 Charger to see how they would look and I thought they were ok but I much rather prefer a five spoke type wheel on my car, right now I have those five spoke aluminum wheels that came on late 70's and early 80's diplomats and I believe 5th avenues and I think they look pretty good on there but I am either going to Torque Thrust II's or the AR500 aluminum wheel from American Racing here in the near future, I do have a set of those Mirada/Cordoba wheels on my 74 Dodge pickup and they look very good on there, but that is just my personal preference and I am sure you will get alot of different opinions.

Ya I want those torque thrusts as well, they look awesome. Do you have pics of your car with either of those factory style rims? Thanks

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

Its orange! Not building a General though, just love orange chargers. Going to put a black stripe on the back too.

In that case I would freshen up the black accents in the wheels and put em on!! :2thumbs:

Ask for a photoshop of the rims on your car. I bet they'll look pretty cool like Vectors
