Grill Assembly

Can anyone advise me if I can remove the entire grill assembly as a unit from my 69 Charger? I'd like to remove it this way before the paint shop rather than piece by piece. Thanks.

Yes you can. How? I can't really tell you, I removed mine in one piece back in August 2007. I honestly don't remember how I did it. :shruggy:

1969 Charger: T5 Copper 383 Automatic
1970 Challenger R/T: FC7 Plum Crazy 440 Automatic

UFO

Bumper and valance panel have to come off first.
Wiring and vacuum hose connections are by the battery.Headlight ground wires at rad cradle.
Bolts are at the center brace at the bottom,top latch tray at the fenders,and four at the back accessible from the wheelwells.
I think that's all it takes.Someone will jump in if I missed something.
