Anyone know how many Charger Rallyes were built in 1972? Thanks.

Thanks very much for the reply! Very helpful. Have a dumb question though - whats the difference between a coupe and a hardtop?

hardtop, roll down window ( regulator ) VIN WH23

Are those Galen's numbers? I've noticed his Rallye numbers are kind of out to lunch.

Twilt, I dont have my white book on me, but I believe the 74 numbers were something like 105 US HT Rallye cars, the rest I can't recall off hand.

You are right, the book does show 105 hartop rallyes for 74 . (336 coupes)  i`d have to agree that number does seem to be completely inconsistent with the 72 and 73 figures in which the rallye hardtops were 6-8 times more common than the rallye coupes.

Also, add up the numbers of U codes and L codes in the 74 HT totals and compare it to the 105 rallyes.

Do you know if any Rallye cars had the A55 code on the tag? I haven't seen any with it yet.

I think you could only get a 440 in an SE, or with the rallye package, same as 360HP? I'm trying to pull this all from memory, all my notes are miles away.
